Product Description
The Bitmain Antminer Z15 Pro is an Equihash ASIC miner for Zcash (ZEC). Bitmain rates it at 840 KSol/s and 2,780 W, an efficiency of 3.31 J/KSol, which is twice the 420 KSol/s of the standard Antminer Z15. Equihash speed is counted in solutions per second (KSol/s), the unit used in Bitmain’s documentation and on most pools. It is a full-size, fan-cooled Antminer built for a dedicated mining space, not a living area.
Who it suits
- Miners who want higher Equihash hashrate per unit than the standard Z15
- Operators who already run Antminer hardware and know the Bitmain web interface
- Sites with a 240 V circuit and a ventilated room, garage or outbuilding
- Buyers consolidating several older Equihash machines into fewer units
Power and setup
Bitmain specifies a 200-240 V AC input for the Z15 Pro, so it cannot run from a standard US 120 V outlet. It needs a 240 V circuit, the kind used for an electric dryer or EV charger, sized for continuous operation. Have a licensed electrician install or confirm a dedicated circuit and a matching receptacle before delivery. The unit connects over Ethernet. Like other full-size Antminers it uses high-speed fans and produces a lot of heat and noise, so plan an intake and exhaust path that keeps hot air away from the machine.

Frequently asked questions
How much power does the Antminer Z15 Pro use?
This 840 KSol/s version is rated at 2,780 W, about 11.6 A at 240 V. Size the circuit for a continuous load of that size.
Can I plug the Antminer Z15 Pro into a standard US outlet?
No. It needs 200-240 V AC input, so a standard 120 V outlet will not run it. Have an electrician install a 240 V circuit rated for a continuous 2,780 W load.
How loud is the Antminer Z15 Pro?
It is listed at 75 dB. At that level, plan a garage, basement or dedicated room rather than a living area.
What coins can the Antminer Z15 Pro mine?
It mines Equihash, the proof-of-work algorithm used by Zcash (ZEC). See our Zcash mining guide. It does not mine Bitcoin.
Does the Antminer Z15 Pro come with a warranty?
Yes. This listing is for a new unit with a 30-day limited warranty from Bitminers, starting on the date of delivery. A manufacturer warranty may also apply. See our Warranty Policy.
