Antminer Z15 (Zcash / Equihash)

The Antminer Z15 and Z15 Pro are Bitmain ASIC miners for Equihash, the memory-hard proof-of-work algorithm used by Zcash (ZEC). Bitmain also lists Horizen (ZEN) as a compatible coin. Equihash output is measured in kilosols per second (kSol/s), counting solutions to the Equihash puzzle rather than plain hashes.

The original Z15 dates from 2020 and is rated at 420 kSol/s and about 1,510 W; it runs from an external 12 V DC power supply. The Z15 Pro, released in 2023, doubles that to 840 kSol/s at about 2,780 W on 200–240 V AC, which works out to about 3.3 J/kSol against roughly 3.6 J/kSol for the original.

Both are air-cooled and rated around 72–75 dB, so they need the same kind of space as any full-size ASIC: a dedicated circuit, ventilation and distance from living areas. Zcash is usually mined through a pool, much like Bitcoin; see mining pools explained.

Before ordering, confirm your pool supports Equihash, check which power supply comes with the unit you choose, and compare kSol/s per watt between the two models. Other non-Bitcoin machines are listed under other ASIC miners.

New condition, flat-rate US shipping of $120 per order, a 30-day limited warranty and 20-day returns. Mining results depend on electricity costs, network difficulty and coin prices; Bitminers does not guarantee profitability. See our shipping, warranty and returns policies.
