The Whatsminer M61S+ is an air-cooled SHA-256 ASIC miner from MicroBT, used to mine Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Bitcoin SV (BSV). This model is rated at 236 TH/s at 4,012 W (17 J/TH). This 216 TH/s version is estimated at about 3,670 W (17.0 J/TH), based on MicroBT’s rated 17 J/TH for the M61S+; the maker does not publish a separate rating for this version, and actual draw varies by unit and power mode.

As an air-cooled machine it relies on its own fans, so it needs a steady supply of cool intake air and somewhere for the hot exhaust to go. Plan ventilation and noise before the unit arrives.
