Product Description

The Avalon A1566 is an air-cooled SHA-256 ASIC miner from Canaan, used to mine Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Bitcoin SV (BSV). The 185 TH/s version is rated at 3,420 W, which works out to 18.5 J/TH.

As an air-cooled machine it relies on its own fans, so it needs a steady supply of cool intake air and somewhere for the hot exhaust to go. Plan ventilation and noise before the unit arrives.

Before you order

• Power: 3,420 W, about 14.2 A at 240 V (rated input: 220-277 V). Size the circuit for a continuous load.
• Noise: rated at about 75 dB, so plan a space away from living areas.
